THINK’s Head office, including finance and human resource management, is based in Durban, South Africa, where visitors are welcomed by the passionate team with a good cup of coffee and engaging conversation.
Our facilities include research sites and programme offices.
Research sites
THINK has dedicated research sites located in Hillcrest, and at Doris Goodwin and King Dinuzulu TB hospitals in Pietermaritzburg and Durban, respectively. These are fully equipped, and access controlled clinical research sites and include:
- Consulting rooms
- Pharmacy
- Data management and filing
- Processing laboratory
- ECG and ophthalmology
- Emergency equipment
- Infection control measures
- Access to in-patient care
- Office space and meeting rooms
Programme Offices
THINK has District offices in Pietermaritzurg, Durban and Richard’s Bay, and a programme office located at the University of KwaZulu-Natal – Howard College. These house the core programme teams that coordinate the USAID TB LON-SAFT programme and the ART Adherence Programme among others. The various teams consist of project management, district coordinators, data management, nurse mentors and adherence counsellors. We also have various cadres of health care workers supporting high burden clinics in eThekwini, uMgungundlovu and uMkhanyakude Districts through roving teams, facility based staff and mobile club facilitators.
